floor is down now & I got the 5 consortina doors installed.

put a whole bunch of cladding on the north wall and a few doors too.

put up the first part of the roof a couple of weeks ago.

dust storm

the dust storm made its way from South Australia to New South Wales overnight, it got to Georgica about 10am.

beams up

managed to raise two large beams and got the front door frame up in the 4 days before I got my foot operated on. No more building till the end of July.

the other northwall section

Got some timber from Byron the other day, built the other section of the northwall and this morning we raised the section up.

east wall action

another addition, I have exhausted all the good timber at the house recyclers in Lismore so I am off to Byron tomorrow to check what they’ve got.

man that was heavy lifting!

Today I lifted the 2.8 metre high section of the northwall by myself and man was it heavy. Note to self: When raising walls, get someone to help.
